Price Modern recently celebrated its 100th year in business, a milestone that many firms have yet to achieve. Founded in 1904 as a stationer and a printer, we have evolved into one of the largest, most sophisticated contract furniture dealers anywhere. Our continued investment in experienced professionals and practical technologies has kept us profitable and growing. Our headquarters remains in Baltimore, Maryland and we provide services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region with additional offices in Washington, DC and Raleigh, NC.

Although the business has changed over the last 30 years, the ownership has not. Price Modern has remained a family-owned business for decades. The owners, Milford Marchant and Robert Carpenter, feel strongly that in order to run a successful office furniture dealership you must be active day to day. Our job is to support the employees with state-of-the-art resources, an enjoyable working environment, and fair compensation. In doing so, we know that our customers will see motivated people and productive solutions coming from Price Modern every day.

Our current working capital position allows us to maintain a high level of financial stability in an otherwise uncertain economic climate.
